NopeSoda is shit. Bad for teeth, spikes insulin without any benefits because all sugar, bad for digestion, and depends on the type can have chemicals that are bad for health
Insulin levels, as T levels (and this forum loves fixating on that one hormone) fluctuate variably through out the day, so it isn't a reliable measure of health.spikes insulin
The lack of sugar co factors (b vitamins and Potassium) is bad tho and will cause a deficiency, along with the phosphate in soda messing up a lot of stuff. He needs nutritious foodExcess sugar turns into Saturated fat and omega-9 that's protective against stress. Cut out PUFAs instead of soda
Not arguing that. Just explaining why soda isn't the boogey monster. The lack of sugar co factors (b vitamins and Potassium) is bad tho and will cause a deficiency, along with the phosphate in soda messing up a lot of stuff. He needs nutritious food
Depends on which soda, Mexican coke okay but shit like coke zero has sugar alternatives which are really bad for youNot arguing that. Just explaining why soda isn't the boogey monster.
and all of that can easily be avoided with a proper diet and thus soda can be very beneficial along side one.

Soda can be very therapeutic. The sucrose, CO2 and caffeine all reliably increase the metabolic rate and oppose stress causing hormones like lactic acid.

Good Google search, but I doubt the diet of the participants is taken into consideration, which highly likely may contain unsaturated fat intake and sugar without a support system can be detrimental.Sugar-sweetened beverage and diet soda consumption and the 7-year risk for type 2 diabetes mellitus in middle-aged Japanese men - European Journal of Nutrition
