Once I made the consultation payment, I started having doubts

Who cares if I have mild scoliosis? I know it's not severe in thoracic spine, so do I really need an x-ray there? It won't get worse as an adult if it's mild

Now for the lumbar. Again, the curve is probably mild. The only thing that makes me want an x-ray is that my right hip is lower, when it shouldn't be with a left lumbar curve, so I want to see the bottom vertebrae to see if there's an additional curve causing my right hip to be lower. That might cause the very occasional sensitive pain I get at the base of my spine. I mean, there has to be a reason my pelvis is tilted, and I want to know if that's causing an additional bend in the spine

But really, is it worth it? ยฃ150 for x-ray and consultation and some radiation exposure (even tho very small) just to see the bottom of my spine? I could probably just cancel it, live my life, see if I have any additional problems, and get an x-ray later if I really wanted to. It's not like there's any treatment anyway unless there was some fucked misalignment of the lower vertebrae

An x-ray just to see whether this causes any problems?

Hmm
This isn't NHS tho. I went NHS route and didn't get an x-ray referral. Forgot to mention my hips. This is private

Then you need a consultation with an Orthopaedic doctor first imo
I had an NHS one with an advanced practice physio, who are able to refer for x-rays etc
He just referred me for physiotherapy

I'd get a second opinion then
