I honestly don’t get it. I don’t understand what I could’ve done to get my ex back, or at the very least slay again.
Context: we dated for about a year, and I’ll be real I wasn’t a good boyfriend. I cheated on her with some emo chick before the relationship completely hit rock bottom, and eventually things ended.
Two years later I saw her again on my college campus. We talked, and it actually went fairly well. She even told me, “You can talk to me whenever.” After that, I felt like she was giving me some decent IOIs but I’ll never really know, because someone I thought was my friend told her I was “trying to slay.”
After that, she told me she never wanted to speak to me again. That honestly made the rejection hit way harder, because now I’m stuck wondering if I was just confusing friendliness for IOIs the whole time.
To make it worse, she had recently gotten broken up with and is still obsessed with the guy a guy I mog to death, which just adds to the confusion.
The thing is, I don’t struggle with girls. I can get chicks. I even have another “GF” right now. But, all I want is to slay my ex one last time I've done it before with another EX so I don't see what makes this so much harder.
What I don’t understand is this: how do you be the guy who did a girl dirty, and she still wants you? I see it happen all the time, but clearly I’m missing something.
For reference, I’m 5’11, MTN look, around 20% body fat but gymmaxxed. Not roided, just a big frame with a good amount of muscle. Girls clearly respond to it, so I don't know how much packing more muscle on would help.
At this point I’m wondering if I’m just coping, misreading signals, or if this situation was doomed from the start. Any and all advice would be appreciated here guys if you need to ask questions I'll be glad to answer.
