Chronic stress and an overactive sympathetic nervous system perhaps. Not necessarily a good thing, because it suppresses the immune system and may increase oxidative stress and excitotoxicity. I only get sick when my stress levels drop, which is extremely rare because I don't live in peace. Last time was after moving, which was a huge weight off my shoulders temporarily
