I don’t have the energy for socialising anymore. I get more enjoyment from going on walks by myself than I do with being around people.
Most people around me are so pessimistic about absolutely everything and I keep encountering the same kind of hardline atheist who took one too many tabs of acid and has now perma fucked his brain. They have lost all ability to look at life in a positive way and to cope with the dread they have decided to break down reality into small calculations and scientific theories.
It’s really fucking weird dude. It can’t be normal for me to keep running into these people, you can see it in their faces that they have stared into a void of despair whilst on drugs and now all they can think about is how the universe is like a maths equation and all of the flavour of life has been sucked out in search for the ‘truth’
This is why it was said that ‘knowledge is blinding’. It hardens the heart and turns man into calculated machines. Knowledge is like money, you can always collect it but you will never have enough. It’s a trap.
