I honestly don’t know how to feel about this.
On the one hand, I think it’s good that he was shot, but on the other hand, I feel pity for him and for his family.
Sure, he said dehumanizing things, he radicalized people through his words who then caused harm to others. Still, he is just an interchangeable figure in a bigger system. His place will be taken, and nothing will change. If it had been Trump, I would feel differently.
Nevertheless, my condolences go out to Charlie Kirk’s family.
