I don’t know why I can’t talk to people

I used to have social anxiety when I was a kid and in my teens. It’s pretty much faded now but I still avoid talking to people.If I must talk to someone I don’t get nervous.


This bothers me because I think it’s the reason I can’t make friends

try lowering ur inhib and then go to social setting u should make friends if you try or maybe get a number from a girl

Somtimes I mess up or like make the conversation longer because I forgot a word to say. In social interactions

What does it mean to make a friend in those settings? I can go and talk to a couple people but then what? Do I get their number and plan a hang out?

Just force yourself to socialize more. You clearly want to be able to. Make small talk, go to social settings, etc.

Easier said than done and im being a little redundant but this helps alot
