I don’t like how my dad tries so hard to make me socialize

We’re at a restaurant and it’s very loud I can’t hear anything. He sees that I just want to be left alone and still tries to get me to socialize when it’s too loud. It eventually becomes very awkward.

same, but I'm 2e as well, so making friends in elementary school was impossible and I was humiliated almost daily

still my dad though
