I don't like pet animals but I would ostracized if I told anyone, what should I do?

If I pretend to like dogs perhaps one day I'll snap and slit the throat on one, and go to jail.

Not sure how long I can maintain the mask of being an animal lover (a MUST in today's society).

Finally someone normal. Why are people mentally ill to the extent that they'd form more "meaningful" bonds with dogs than people from their own species.
