Religion is the biggest cope to date. Religious fundamentalists are the worst, they want to impose rules on others based on books that were written thousands of years ago and that have many interpretations/ understandings.

Religion back in the day might have been slightly better Idk I wasn't there, But nowadays, It's all politics. Churches now even allow gay people. Im not into religion, but the fact that they change certain rules to avoid getting in trouble, Just shows how malleable religion is. But op is somewhat right. Religion and religious people are all phony. Christians, islams and such people. Its all social order for people who like that virtue signaling. But they are a small percentage of people who dived deep that are considered passing when it comes to truly being a devotee. Imo this is less than 1 percent of the population and is probably not who Op is referring to.

But Op still subhuman. Bible is a history book for the most part. People think they can just open and read the book like its a manga or fantasy something. You need a certain quota of understanding of current events to even grasp the knowledge contained. This is the same with other historically correct religious texts. In biblical exegesis, the opposite of exegesis (to draw out), is eisegesis (to draw in), in the sense of an eisegetic commentator "importing" or "drawing in" their own subjective interpretations into the text, unsupported by the text itself.

This eisegesis is what most pastors and such people do today. A lot of them have the wrong context, and just use it as a tool to control the "religious" archetype. But that does not mean the texts itself was created for this purpose. I mean think ab it. If i was the enemy, the first thing i would do is spread misinfo while masquerading as a frenemy. Like raising a enemies son wrong. A wolf in sheep's clothing etc.

From my research most in that book is written in context, and it gets even more complex when you dive deep into the actual source meanings of the words used. (strongs concordance). For example, the word faith is used, but if we source the hebrew meaning behind the word and find out the stongs concordance, the real meaning behind that word its not faith as in belief, but faith as in faithfulness. This applies to almost 90+% of the book. Theres lots of sentences thrown around out of context by phonys, and lots of words that have a different meaning that what we initially think. This is why people are confused about it today and think the book is based on personal interpretation, when it is infact historically accurate.
