If someone close to me wants to be deep and have a meaningful discussion I change the subject or laugh and make a big joke out of it. Why? I’ll tell you why — because I’m scared. I’m scared of life. I’m scared of death. I’m scared of the obscurity of the future. I’m scared of pain. I’m scared of loss. I’m scared of what happens next. i don’t want to think a lot. I don’t want to cry….
