There are multiple levels of those too. If they are farming it for the supermarkets you will just get the same shit. If you live in a rural area or have friends and familly in a rural area, it should not be hard to find some good stuff.I will buy one from the farm next time I go.
I live in a rural part of the Midwest. there are plenty of small farms here that I could buy from. There are multiple levels of those too. The absolute best stuff is grown outside, not in greenhouses, free of chemicals and hand pruned. My friend is a tomato lover and the stuff he grows you can't buy.

that's honestly pretty cool. Maybe one day he will have a tomato buisness or somethingYes he is obsessed with them, he keeps the best seeds and plants them next year. He does not spray them with anything except some natural oils to keep the stink bugs away. His tomatoes are so good man. Its a shame he does not make enough to sell, I would buy them all the time.
I've never been to Missouri beforeMissouri
I need to drive like an hour to get to farm nearby
Many people here have small farms and sell produce on the side. Its not the main job, but a side hustle. You will see people bring thier produce in front of the house with a scale and a sun umbrella (what is that called?). They will even leave it unattended and you have to yell for them to come out and sell you lol.that's honestly pretty cool. Maybe one day he will have a tomato buisness or something![]()
