I don't observe IOIs in the wild anymore

Recently I've noticed that people don't really check each other out like they used to. Not talking about myself necessarily (I also notice less attention), but when I see a giga mogger out and about I will kind of observe to see the reactions he gets. Back in my day (im 27), these guys would get overt IOIs and attention but these days it seems like people focus their gaze steady on the horizon regardless of the attractiveness of those around them. Is this a Gen Z post covid thing going on? Or am I simply incorrect?

Yeah exceptionally tall people get stared at regardless of attractiveness though. It's just human nature to look at imposing objects when they pop into view. I would probably be more insecure if I was 6'5 because I would never know if people were fetishizing my height as the sole determinant of my value.

When I go out with my friend who is about 4 inches shorter than me, I notice how several woman stare at him, completely ignoring my presence. So in my experiencie IOIs are still going strong.

To get IOIs in the wild it helps if you're tall and in really good shape (dressing well helps too) because that will draw attention to you. My tall friend gets a good amount of attention and he's a MTN but he stands out in a crowd (6'4-5" and big)

I like going to clubs etc with him because he is an anchor that will draw attention to the pair of us. I face mog him so it's not too bad being around him.

If you're really 6'5" like you say you are that's probably a big reason why you get attention. Height and size are great for attention.

The pandemic made people more shy and anti-social. But I think even before that, people were more withdrawn. I kind miss it because it feels good to get checked out by women like that, and it doesn't happen as often now.
