I was pretty active on instagram starting late last year because I had realized I had no public online presence and if I want to get some recognition for my music career I have to at least put myself out there.

I knew I was ugly but I just kept on telling myself I had to do something, otherwise I'd stay invisible.

I had gotten to a decent amount of followers (let's just say about a hundred since I don't wanna doxx myself) from all the things I was posting. The most likes I'd usually get is about 15 maximum but hey you gotta start somewhere right?

Anyway I would post myself along other random things like I've seen other guys do and their posts get a decent amount of attention. I thought it would work for me too but I guess talent doesn't matter when you're hideous.

The last last time I posted I thought it was doing pretty well until I saw I was mentioned in a story. I clicked on it and it was some random who didn't even follow me and it was the selfie I had posted in my slideshow. I'm pretty sure niggas was laughing at me. Because why else would they do that?

Tldr: I think I might be done with instagram for a while

Because I feel like the algorithm hides my posts because I'm not an attractive guy

I've done a lot of what they say to engage with other accounts and be active to grow an audience but it's not working

Artists stick to making music for years without significant growth. All the time. Sometimes I go to random YouTube pages and see they make music for years before stopping abruptly. Probably had 500 views at most.
