Its so stupid I dated her when i was 14-15 and eventually I broke up with her because I thought she took the relationship way too seriously for me being only 15, but its been almost 3 years now and she still lingers through my memory every single day and there is just truly nothing I can do about it, and it hurts even more knowing that I was the one who ended things and its all my fault. She was dating a different guy for a year, but they broke up recently because he cheated on her, I'm honestly not sure if I try going for her again or just let her be. I felt the same way about a girl I didn’t even date, just spoke to her quite a lot (flirting too), and every time I spoke to a woman after that I’d just compare them two, and I’d be essentially looking for her in other girls (same as you).

The trick is to speak to more woman, I promise you’ll get over it, it’ll take some time but you’ll reach a stage of “not giving a fuck” and wanting to just enjoy yourself instead of thinking about old shit.
