Obviously I’ve had small conversations with people (small talk) but I don’t think I’ve ever been sat with someone and had an actual conversation that flowed from one topic to the next, probably a neurodivergent thing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes I have. I knew people who believed in many conspiracies, those guys will talk your ear off. They’re easy to talk to because you don’t have to talk much. Just feed their ego here and there.
