I think this will fuck up your workout performance because it tells your mind to do something (working out) that seemingly is causing you pain. You don’t want to make discipline seem negative
Instead you want to try and remove negative addictions FIRST (such as unhealthy snacks, porn usage, lack of sleeping, etc) and then boom working out won’t seem like a punishment
Another thing I recommend, try not to workout when a single emotion is triggered such as being angry or being sad
This is more of motivation instead of discipline, and while it’s great to workout when being angry, try making it a habit of working out while in a good mood. Maybe you just scored a good grade or honor roll, try to associate working out with doing that positive thing by maybe working out afterwards
