I don't understand female gaze

I was on vacation with 2 female friends, once we were drunk at our hotel bar they started rating the facial attractiveness of people from our school.

They had 2 mid looking guys in their top 3 and one of them looks like a fucking gorilla, with no "female gaze" features

I don't understand anything abt them anymore
