Anytime I’m in a public setting, j find myself surrounded by people so willing to let themselves go physically. I cannot comprehend how so many people who are only in their late 20s/early 30s already look like such shit and don’t seem to give a damn about it. They’re all walking around the city slaving away at work to finance whatever goal they deem worthy of consuming their entire life for.

I guess it’s understandable for people who need to provide for others like family to not be fully able to look after themselves, but I’m sure a large number of these people are alone and yet seem to not care about how they look as if it’s not a core part of themself. I simply cannot comprehend not wanting and trying to improve myself, especially in the most physically tangible way that is an outward illustration of who you are

You noticed the root because you're awake to tend to it, most of them have the same contingent pathway as to why they haven't discovered lookism yet, that is, their life experience's. they treat their bodies, looks, and misc. as a shell that they carry just temporarily, since nothing has taught them the importance of beauty. (Such as prior bullying, favoritism, or exclusion.)

an idiom follows as;
"a man can slave away at work, chase fleeting goals, and never look at the mirror long enough to recognize the currency he’s carrying."

Some may call it negligence, or ignorance, but I define it as void, it's quiet, unremarked, yet absolute. The body is the first language we speak, yet most of these people mumble in tongues no one understands to portray what they define as "Beauty".

Yet for other's on here, physical appearance is not merely aesthetic, it is the first argument you make to the world, a declaration of care and discipline (such as those blue-piller's who claim building muscle's is all you need to "dominate the world", ect).
and to ignore it is to surrender to inequality, quietly, to let the unremarkable define the terms of existence around you. your beauty defines who you are before you can mumble a word to express your inner self.

I think often it's very much a "a polished turd is still a turd" situation.

Just think of how many men never bothered to get a decent haircut and have worn the exact same longer top shorter sides thing since they were like 10. They don't care about looking good, just presentable.
