I just dont understand looks theory - on one hand women match more on tinder with goodlooking guys, but on the other hand it feels like a lot of the women just want validation

are you looking for quality, or quantity? looks theory is best applied towards a quantitatively-minded dater, rather than a qualitatively-minded person. the core tenet of looksmaxxing is to maximise the number of people who find you attractive over a certain threshold, as opposed to nichemaxxing/trying to impress specific people.

yes, it is VERY possible and VERY common for unattractive men to get cute girlfriends. yes, it is also possible for attractive men to not flex the full extent of their market value

personally, i'm looking for quantity, and I believe that quality comes with quantity through a variety of reasons I won't go into.
