The ancestors they praise, the history they inherit and celebrate, even their culture and language in some instances have influences beyond their border. It's such a stupid ideology. Alexander the Great, Cyrus, Genghis khan, and all these empires of the past whether British or Mughal sought to expand beyond the borders and spread their culture, language and religion. I just take a firmly Islamic perspective which is the middle ground. It acknowledges that people are born in certain tribes and culture and they have their exclusivity. "We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another."


There are Nations and peoples and they should be preserved because that's the default setting of humans. But they will not be able to withstand the influence of others and the weaker ones shall be conquered by the stronger ones. Even the stronger ones today shall become weak tomorrow.
