Why does time go slower if you go faster? What correlation do they have?? And that’s not even all of it, apparently time moves slower also when you’re close to a large gravitational pull??? Why???
What is this jewish shit

Jimmy neutron type shit innit

I think special and general relativity are fraudulent theories

Time is relative but fuck that all kike shit

You don’t need to. Understanding relativity won’t get you pussy. Face n height only. No relativity for your face

BECAUSE we are low iq. Look at dogs. We are only a level above those spastics.

Special Relativity has 2 parts (axioms). All (non accelerating) reference frames are valid and light moves the same speed regardless of reference frame.

First part just means that if you're moving constant velocity you could say that you aren't moving and that everything else is moving relative to you. Kinda like if you're on a super steady train that isn't turning or wobbling or whatever and isn't getting faster or slower, you feel as if you're not moving. Same reason why in an airplane when you're cruising you don't really feel like you're moving.

Second part is the weird part. If I throw you a ball at 50mph it comes to you at 50mph. If I'm on a car going 60mph towards you and I throw the ball at the same speed as before, it would come at you at 110mph (50+60). With light though, if I shoot it at you it goes some speed we'll call c. If I'm on the same car as before and I shoot the light at you, you'd think it comes at the speed c+60mph. But for some reason when you see how fast it came at you it would be just the speed of light, c. Even if the car was going .99*c, when you register the light that I shoot, you'd see it comes at you at the speed c.

So all this shit is nonsense to our monkey brains, but when we test this stuff out we find out it's how the world works.

Basically from there you do some math with some light clock and you find out that what this means is that two events can occur at different times for people and that two ppl with identical clocks with one of them moving will register time differently (from the perspective of one of the ppl). What this means is that if someone is moving (at constant velocity) away/towards you will have their clock run a little slower than your clock from your perspective. That last part is crucial because from the perspective of the other guy, he could say he isn't moving (constant velocity thing), and so he would see your clock running slower than his clock (because you're moving relative to him). Funny thing is, if you tried to send him a message at the fastest possible speed in the universe, the speed of light, to tell him the time (now that your clocks are desynced) he would get the message of your clocks time just in time for him to exactly match the time on his clock (because he was moving through time slower in your reference frame). Same thing for you if he tried to instantly send a message of his time at the speed of light.

The time moving slower cuz of gravity is because gravity is the curvature of spacetime (space and time). So things with larger masses distort space (the feeling of gravity that pulls you down and keeps planets in orbit) and time (causes that time slowdown). This is all general relativity stuff and the math I can't even follow so I can't really help you there (go read a book). But consider that special relativity told us that time is kinda malleable (and if you do the math on accelerating reference frames you get stuff very similar to gravity), so we kinda have to abandon our everyday notions so we can have shit like GPS cuz we need the math to be precise.

Bigger thing is that this stuff is only noticeable if you're moving/something is moving close to the speed of light or with things that are really fucking massive (black holes n shit). So who gives a fuck
