Imagine some random people who live thousands of miles away taking your money/resources just because of some family name they were born into

After the revolution everything was almost exactly the same in america as in England. A bunch of guys fought for what they thought would be freedom and a new cultural standard and a new country that wasnt subject to the stupid rules of the english monarchy, but just like everywhere in europe the upper class had their fancy estates and ruled over massive fortunes and dictated the rules and regulations while the average man worked his ass off and got barely enough to buy food and housing. At least they got rid of having a king
