It’s basically muscle insertion whether it’s low or not just like biceps (short heads nd long head) , hypertrophy is same cuz it’s a muscle it doesn’t care that if it’s high or low the effects of hypertrophy are different as more lower masseter would give u more square jaw look but high insertions give ur face more round look

definitely , it’s the most important aspect of jaw area , if u have a gonial angel of 140 degrees then training masseter won’t do shit
