i dont understand why foids take catcalling so seriously

like i swear to god they describe it as seriously as they describe brutal rape. Like i dont get it ? who cares if some one whistles or makes kisses noise at you, move on (perhaps you find it disrepectful but i mean move on) . Are they generally mentally weaker than a child ? Move on . I dont get it am i missing something ? im imaging my self getting cat called and it doesnt even register to me as a negative experience, just say ''please leave me alone'' and move on

Once again this is an example of women self traumatizing it didnt happen so why even imagine yourself in pain? its not like your mentally unwell (if they than its excused)
