There's this girl that I've been talking with online for a few months she seems to like me and I do confess I do like her we have similar hobbies

She was gonna go on a date with a guy irl but she canceled the date to quote "Not make me sad"

But then today I woke up we talked a little then she suddenly feels like telling me she has a big big crush on a guy at school and wants him and that he looks soo much like her favorite musical artist, but she can't get him because it's her bff's friend.

Why would she tell me that when I have made it clear that I like her? Clueless? To make me jealous?
