That can be the definiton of volcel as well. Nobody is involuntarily celibate, besides forcefully imprisoned or kidnapped people for example, which can't do anything about their situation and are cooped up.

It depends on how you define volcel.

Having sex takes time and energy. So if you're working toward sex, but aren't currently having it, are you a volcel or an incel?

If you won't be able to have sex until after your surgeries scheduled for next month, are you volcel or incel?

If you won't be able to have sex until you can afford a sports car in twenty years, are you volcel or incel?

What about if you can't have sex until you're status maxed which will take a decade or two of effort, volcel or incel?

I go back and forth between what I call them but there should be a new term for some who can't have sex now but is working on it.
