It is worth losing weight if you weigh 310 lbs, that is morbidly obese. You should lose weight for health reasons aswell as looksmaxxing reasons. However you will need to have enough money on the side to get your excess skin removed post weight loss. I doubt you have the clout/inspirational story to get your surgery fund raised.
