Hello guys,
I ended my cut and immediately felt like my testosterone exploded. I have way more energy, and after only 4 days of eating more, I've gotten much stronger. For example, before I was doing lateral raises with 16 kg (35 lbs) for 10 reps and really struggling.
Now, after just 4 days of eating more, I can do 18 kg (40 lbs) for 10 clean reps pretty easily.
I also feel like my muscles look much fuller. It feels like I'm as big now without a pump as I used to be with a pump. But I'm scared of getting fat again. I actually didn't want to end the cut because I'm still not lean enough. However, I've heard that it's not healthy to stay in a calorie deficit for a whole year straight and that you should take breaks or do refeeds.
Then suddenly having all this energy and strength makes me think about how much time I might have wasted. I could have been so much stronger. But at the same time, if I had been eating more the whole time, maybe I would've just been a bloated, overweight strongman type of guy.
So I don't know. On one hand, being lean and looking good is nice, but feeling underfed and having no energy for anything isn't great either. I don't know how things will go yet. So far, the scale hasn't moved much.
What should I do? Any gymcels here who have experience with this?
