I feel crazy lat pump in dumbbell rows but no doms after

But when I do pull ups I feel doms afterwards. I get better pump while rowing tho.

It’s because pull ups involve greater stretch causing muscle hyperplasia and is a superior exercise in the name of intensity

But rows gives greater pump.

That’s just build up of lactic acid. Muscles being damaged or sore usually requires an intense loaded stretching motion or unaccustomed exercise
 
Try single-arm cable pulldowns with a deep stretch at the top and pause at the bottom. Lat pumps for days
