Yes, you're less mature for not having sex. Sex is a part of normal adult life. If you've never had sex you become completely obsessed about it and it haunts you in everything you do. Maybe, but subconsciously you know you aren't and literally are a better person for it. It is what it is, sexuality is the main thing in life.
After the sexuality is fulfilled you can start thinking about other, higher level stuff without feeling like a fool or it being cope.
