Most things that make people ugly/uglier aren't extremely obvious, stand out things
they're not all like gigantic bird beak noses or something.

But, if you show someone two pictures of the same person, one with a longer philtrum, the person will probably perceive the shorter philtrum one as more attractive without necessarily being able to pick out the difference between the two pictures.
