Smartphone companies like Apple and Samsung overdid it with the improvement of Video quality processing with both hardware and software improvements. Compared selfie quality which has stagnated for years now. So it makes sense that you look better in motion.

Probably BCS Ur asymmetrical
In motion u don't see them so Ur brain js fills the gaps n u look fine but in a photo u can spot every asymmetry and it ruins u
