I feel like most people in relationships don't even know what the fuck matters to them in a relationship outside of physical traits/money/status

When someone says "what do you even have in common???", what the fuck does that even mean?
Like you need to have the same hobbies or some shit? Or have the same personality? How much do you need to have "in common" for them to believe a relationship is valid from an outside perspective?

your first mistake was assuming most people in relationships are sentient to begin with

If the person is under 25, probably.

If the person is under 25, probably.
even for people who are in their 30s
what the fuck are they talking about when they say "what do you have in common" besides looks, money, status/educational status that even matters?

"what do you have in common"
Family life, and really tastes...although most of the time people dont want people with the same tastes
Examples: ur hobby, this can impact...ur addictions, etc.(In short, ur "personality" is something that is difficult to objectify.)
looks, money, status/educational status that even matters?
Maybe u dont want to date someone boring, and Im talking about a long-term relationship, not a young romance.
