That’s roughly the timeframe from “To All the Boys I've Loved Before” releasing on Netflix to “The Summer I Turned Pretty” coming on Amazon Prime; predating the normie saturation point with the “Oxford Study” meme, but succeeding Elliot Rodger and Obama-era sensibilities of libs pretending like everyone has their voice and a seat at the table.

Things will get muuuch worse, you are never going to be seen as “complicated” or “interesting,” yadda-yadda--but it’s also …plain weird to be worked up about it ’cause it’s somehow more lacking than any actual sense of resentment: it’s absence squared. You have this vague inverted idea of “undesirability,” but why should that ever apply to you when there was never even a whiff of a thought that you were somehow in the running?

The throughline through it all, y’know, with the usual musings on bizarre racial quotas everywhere, hapas, WMAF, “representation,” is that the Asian men have no place in them, but that’s… everything they ever seem to talk about. You’re not even in the cuck chair, dude. And what is “Asian America,” exactly? UC schools? Subletting windowless rooms in Chinatown, all cash? Fucking… Irvine?

I would simply cool it down with the narcissism and stop making all these random things about me… Just say you’re Filipino and roll with the punches and be the good little doggy that you are, I guess?

Mainstream Anglo-American culture generally stigmatizes Asian men, but the reason why dating got better for Asian guys is because of the societal fragmentation of Anglo society which started around 2010. Nichification and the constant formation of new subcultures ultimately benefited ethniks, in particular East Asians, If an ethnik wants to maximize his dating pool, they must find a subculture that is receptive of their race.
