Or maybe they did, but behaved such that it didn't seem that way according to my sensibilities. They all claimed they did care but their actions seemed to show otherwise. I think people do not all experience "caring" as the same thing. I have come to the realization that the most important thing in a relationship is a similar perception and hierarchy of values. If a couple does not share this, then they will eventually come to despise one another.
