ive been religious (Christian) for such a short period of my life. i was so afraid of the end times as a kid, to must die in such pain in order to get eternal life. id have to clench my teeth, close my eyes and get beheaded by the antichrist or burn in hell forever. but then i would be saved. imagine putting a child in that agony, anything about end times made my stomach hurt, the natural catastrophes too, the insects.
but the thought of some ultimate saviour out there and infinite good/happiness in heaven felt so warm and comforting
even being agnostic - atheist (most part of my teen years) was so much better than when i had the bad luck to get blackpilled on reincarnation
it all went so downhill from there, i died inside more and more as time passed. became a complete abused dog, like what i believe is the final stage of every sentient living organism and then they die. ITS SO SAD THAT I HAVE THIS BELIEF, I DESPERATELY WISH THAT I DIDNT HAVE THAT BUT I UNFORTUNATELY DO.
