Not eating for days was giving me insomnia again. On day 5, I had gone to bed at 2:45 AM and I woke up at 5:25 AM, and I did not go back to sleep. On day 6, I had gone to bed at 1:45 AM, then I woke up at 4 AM first and then at 5:30 AM. I realized this must be because of not eating anything at all for almost an entire week. Plus I was getting hungry now at this point, so I broke my fast by having dinner. I had tomato soup first, then pakorays, and then a Punjabi dish called kadhi pakoray. Pakorays are deep-fried onion fritters, they’re very tasty. @NumbThePain
6 days is stravation

im a fat fuck, i could never imagine not eating for a full day, let alone six
i am also fat and can go days without eating

it all depends on what you eat. start actually making changes to mostly meats, eggs, carbs and fats
i suggest a high carb high protein med fat diet, you wont be hungry mosy of the time

don't do this to yourself man. If you want to lose weight don't starve yourself it fucks up your hormones and shit. Just go in a calorie deficit you can maintain and add some cardio. If you only eat like 200 less calories a day and do 30min incline treadmill you're already in a 500 calorie deficit.

I feel the same honestly as before. But that's because I'm used to doing this, it's not like it was the first time of me trying to do this.

Oh shoot. Is that the science behind it? Can say that it's true because when I ate, I slept for hours.

It's hard if you've never done it before but once you do it a few times it becomes easy. I'm 45 hours into it now.

Honestly, I didn't feel any different than normal! And yes bhaijaan, I lost 3.3 kg. When we meet again, I won't be as fat as I was for the past year or so. Ahaha I didn't know you knew the dishes.. did you google it?

Bhaijaan I think my genetics are doomed due to being South Asian. If I eat at 1000 kcal then I am simply maintaining my weight, I'm not losing anything. In order to lose, I need to eat 500 to 750 kcal or less, otherwise I won't lose any weight.

I didn't feel hungry for the first five days, and I also lost some weight as a result. On day 6 I did get hungry and I ate around 7 or 8 PM.

Careful what you eat after a fast, don't forget
Yep, that's exactly why I had tomato soup first before eating dinner that was made. You have to be careful after fasting for more than 2 days, but if you're doing 2 days or less, then you don't have to worry about refeeding syndrome.

Why did you fast?
I know one or two days once a month is good (with a Lot of electrolytes) Bit six days?

So, was it worth doing this fast If you ask me, instead of not eating for 6 days, you could’ve done cardio and stuff, and you wouldn’t have been lacking nutrients either

Okay, so I started dieting about a month ago. I did this by switching to OMAD (one meal a day). However, now the fasting month is coming up this month, in like two weeks from now, and for an entire month, I will be forced to change my eating habits, by essentially doing TMAD (two meals a day, a pre-dawn meal and a dinner to break the fast). As a result, I will be gaining weight. It would be demotivating for me to weigh myself after three months of dieting, and seeing that I gained weight since I started. It would genuinely kill any motivation to continue and then I'd let myself go again. That's why I decided to go all in right before the fasting month starts, so I can lose considerable weight and thus stay motivated even after the fasting month. This was the only way for me.

Yes, it was because I lost more weight than I would have done so by eating while working out. I did that for two weeks or two and a half weeks and I lost 5 kg only, compare that to 6 days of fasting the way I did and I lost 3.3 kg.

Interesting. So, what were the things you had to watch out for during this fast?
