I finally deleted Linux and Reinstalled Windows

The liers who claim linux "just works" need to be beaten.

Most of these so called "linux users" just do basic light browsing or run a vietual machine to show off to reddit.

I couldn't even change my laptops RGB lights on the keyboard

I couldn't even connect Samsung Ear buds without some workaround from github

I can't even use my razor controllers software

There's so many games that don't work unless u download some obscure proton GE version.

Devil May Cry HD collection doesnt display cutscenes properly
Lego LOTR has glitched water effects

And so many other games just have issues

I don't want to spend hours tinkering just to get a game to work

I wanted to avoid Microsoft Ai co pilot crap and telemetry.

Because Windows sucks ass and you have no real alternative, because the FOSS community collectively decided to build their foundation on an inherently fragmented, incoherent and ever arbitrarily changing OS stack. and Valve are morons for picking this "stack" thinking it will ever be a real competitor to Windows outside of their Steamdeck or Steam machines.

The fragmentation has ensured no consistent stable foundation for the end-user PC market. Valve laughably and desperately picking a fragmented "OS" for their Store is just sad at this point.

FreeBSD or *BSD was clearly the better contender but for some reason the retarded FOSS community aimed for fragmentation instead. What works for the server world (a custom OS stack) simply does not translate for the home user PC world.

You can actually disable that Microsoft ai crap rn. I think last week Microsoft released updates to be able to disable it. Also linux being fragment is a feature not a flaw. Also it's not linux fault that software and hardware companies don't care about Linux and optimize evrything for windows. Valve has helped the development a lot like nvidia gpu on Linux used to be pipedream but is now a thing but yes windows is not going away anytime soon.

You shouldn't go into linux if you expect zero issues and a complete user friendly experience, you will have a much better time just accepting its gonna make you learn how to deal with certain issues depending on your system and adapting to it for the payoff, ive been using endeavour and arch on my systems for a long time now and have had only issues that require a little tinkering now and then (I have an nvidia gpu too which causes a lot of screw ups but even then it was easy to fix)

BSD is very niche i don't think it would catch up. It only works on PlayStation because Playstation makes 100% of all the hardware same Linux users building PC for Linux scenario i mentioned. I've tinkered with it before. Valve just choose linux because it was open source

I just got sick of so many little things over the course of 2 years adding up over time.

Microsoft hides them because they want your data and they want you using their copilot and edge but the backdoors to turn them off are accessible.

I would of done that before switching to linux but after being able to customize my sys however I want esp with things like hyprland I don't think I could ever go back

For 99% of users I just suggest strocking on GNOME tbh. Cosmic is also very good I feel despite it being beta release and all.

I would recommend KDE over gnome IMO, or even cinnamon, unless you were switching from macos then gnome would work out great for you

I tried pop OS at first, moved to Mint then eventually to Bazzite

For 99% of users I just suggest strocking on GNOME tbh. Cosmic is also very good I feel despite it being beta release and all.

Linux is peak midwit OS, unless you're using it for a specialized reason, but like you said, most people who have it in their systems only use it to browse the Internet. Linux users love to pretend that they're mysterious intelligent tech-savvy people, when all they did is follow a YouTube tutorial on how to dual-boot Arch with Windows.
