Getting them in and out is really hard. I have to look in the mirror to do it and the lens is so tiny you can easily drop it.
I wear them and its fine but because I have mild presbyobia, things up close look blurry. I can get away with not wearing bifocals because my glasses sit further from my eyes. Then I have to remember to blink a lot while wearing contacts because if you don't you'll get smudge vision. All of this just to look a little more handsome is really not worth it. I think Ill probably mostly wear glasses until I can save up money for eye surgery.

You get used to it
Though if you do feel literal pain, there is a problem

Wow I would have never thought
People sometimes power through the pain when they should actually either examine if something is wrong or stop trying to put in lenses for the day altogether

Give the contacts a few weeks and if you still don’t like them, like you said wear glasses and save up for eye surgery but the draw back is that your eyes would be super sensitive to light

these are a trial pair actually so I won't really know and he did say these would be less comfortable. Its more getting them in an out is a pain. I don't literally have eye pain.
