I tried to understand time dilation for many years, but this video finally did it. It's just a pseudo-effect, time doesn't really change, it's just that there's no objective time for all observers, and the higher difference between two positions (inertial frames of reference), the higher the difference in time perception between two.
This means if you travel with almost the speed of light through the universe, you would almost completely stop aging compared to humans on Earth - but for you, time perception wouldn't change, so you wouldn't have more time to experience things, meaning there's no way to escape the agepill.
