In the sense that people judge you if you do it and label it "cheating".

People seem to just ignore or not be aware it's a human instinct that people seek reproduce with people with good genes, add to that the fact that vast majority of romantic couples come about because of "right place at the right time", in other words most couples aren't even completely in love with each other or anything close to that, so you combine these two things and you'll inevitably have the desire to "cheat" and you end up acting on it. So people expect and think it's natural for two people that just happened to meet after being at the right place at the right time and settled for each other just to fulfill a basic human need, to completely latch onto one another and not feel any desire to want to be with genetically superior candidates for reproduction like it's all a fairytale and human instinct is not a thing.

Its about trust that plays a big role in relationships/marriage. Usually both sides want a relationship based on trust etc.

If your partner is cheating on you behind your back with this, then its likely that other things are going on behind your back too, in which case a trustful relationship can not work.

If someone wants multiple sex partners, then it makes more sense to only start FWBs, rather than normal relationship/marriage.

If you break established rules then you're a cheater.

Mate guarding only makes sense for men so that they don't raise a child that isn't theirs
If you decide to get in a relationship with some woman who has fucked other guys before you it's destined to fail at some point so just cheat on her if you can then if she cheats break up with her and move onto another pointless relationship
