I skipped a grade, basically means I'm on the same level as you
(Still in school though, fuck)

I’d read anything tbh as long as it has one of these: good writing, a good story, or a good lesson.
I've just finished The Art of War (Antoine-Henri Jomini)
It's military theory, so I'd doubt that you would like it, as it's make for a specific audience that already knows certain vocabulary and terms.
But as for the philsophical things I've been reading, or atleast nitpicking at.

The Decline of the West - Oswald Spengler
The Birth of Tragedy - Friedrich Nietzsche
Eumeswil - Ernst Jünger
Metaphysics of Morals - Immanuel Kant

^^ If you are already intrdocued with Nietzsche I'd suggest to start with his early work on Hellenism, as he was an expert in the topic. Most people love to start with Zarathustra, which is deceiving, as he is an expert on Ancient Greek Philosophy and Language, and to understand Nietzsche you have to understand the greats.

AWESOME, I’ll read them all as soon as possible. Do you have any suggestions for starting books on the Art of War?

Definitely On War (Clausewitz) as it's a great introduction to Military Theory. I have a larger Military Theory reading list, but to understand the Modern era I'd suggest starting with some of the works of Counterinsurgency (David Kilcullen) and On Guerilla Warfare (Mao Zedong) and some of Guala's counter maoist work if possible. Of course, there's technological books but that goes into modern cyber warfare, which isn't exactly traditional Military Theory

^^ These are all Military Theory, which I've been interested in for the past 3 years. It's a large topic and has little to no online community that's been alive.

Yeah, I’ll definitely be reading these. I haven’t read much past Sun Tzu’s Art of War, so I’m excited to get into this.
On a side note, I strongly dislike the direction fighting wars has been going. I feel as if it lost its appeal after Vietnam.

Guala's work is slowly but surely coming into Modern U.S doctrine and I love to see it, Gorman Mcormick's diamond model was largely idealogical and didn't account for the factor into state and people.
Mind you I'm a Freshman Btw :soy::soy:
