I remember watching this show as it came out when I was 14 years old. This show brings so much nostalgia, it marked me a lot in my early to mid teenage years.

When I finished the anime I quickly caught up to the latest manga chapter at the time, after which I kept reading weekly for some time until at some point I stopped.

Recently I started rewatching it and I gotta say it is still hilarious, very enjoyable indeed although some scenes are always better the first time you see them.

But this time I actually finished it. I read to the very end that hadn’t yet released a few years back.

My reaction to the final chapter:

All I wanted was for Hana and Kyoshi to end up together…

But alas… he ended up with no one.

I guess I prefer him ending up with no one than with Chiyo. Especially after the way he treated Hana. Fuck this shit.
