Dont use tret / retinol until skin barrier fully heals or you'll damage your skin even more.

ok is there any acids or other skin products I shouldn't use also what about my hair

how does one even acquire 4% anyways it wont damage it permanently rinse your hair and shampoo use a hair mask or smth after and get it checked if it starts getting unusually red or becomes a blister

i wouldnt risk it nothing serious happens if u use it but still youd just further irritate the skin and delay healing
how is taz better all I have hear is use retinal
its a stronger retinoid

was the tret causing alot of peeling and irritation if so .5 if not u can js start w 1% it should be fine id suggest just getting 1% either way and introducing it slowly 2-3 times a week then after the irritation calms every other day and so on and use sunscreen pa++++ spf 50 atleast everyday while moisturizing daily u could sandwich it between layers of moisturizers to reduce irritation
