It was the first time I was going around the classroom and helping any students who had questions. Some students raised their hand, I walked over to them and I tried helping them. Turns out I was giving the wrong answers, I didn't know they had to limit their answers to a word bank at the end of the book -- especially because I never worked with the material before. Now they probably won't have faith in me anymore. I plan on apologizing to the students I gave the wrong answers to and from now on, I'll do the exercises myself so I won't have to come up with the answers on the spot.

Is it possible to tell whichever teacher is grading those assignments that those students should not be penalized for their answers?Although I suppose it would make you look bad if you told them that you gave the wrong answers. Hope it all goes well moving forward.

And it was just an exercise, so there was no grading involved. Still, I wanted to make sure I gave the right answers but I failed to do that, mainly because the exercises were quite vague. There was no indication that a word bank had to be used. But now I will ask my mentor teacher for the homework and in-class exercises beforehand so that I can make them myself and have the right answers at my disposal. Thank you for the kind words!

bhai you always need to practice the questions they do beforehand

it’s very easy to be caught off guard, you should apologise and take a few minutes to solve the questions you got wrong in case they didn’t understand it,

mistakes happen and you still have the trust and respect of the kids your teaching, js make sure you don’t repeat it or you’ll be known as the useless one
