Can I get away with not using sunscreen if I wear a cap? I am on 60mg daily Accutane. I won't be out in the sun for a long time and will try to walk in the shadows as much as possible

you have to use loads for adequate protection AND reapply throughout the day, it stinks and is gross on the skin, better to just stay out of midday sun and cover up

Unironically I wear sunscreen everyday and I look better than most young people who smoke and don't protect their skin.Sunscreen is useless. Expose your skin more frequently to short amounts of sunshine and you will be less likely to burn and also healthier. This idea that the sun causes ageing and cancer is probably the most idiotic belief on this website. Imagine, hundreds of incels hiding in their basements all summer slathering on spf50 every day thinking it will make them chad.
Yeah it is not like I am tanning jfk. I don't think I have ever gotten sunburned even once tbhDon't use sunscreen bruh. Just put on a cap and stop overthinking. Sun is good on short doses. Fuck anyone who says different.
What kinda sunscreen do you use braUnironically I wear sunscreen everyday and I look better than most young people who smoke and don't protect their skin.
You're a fucking idiot. There's literally mountains of peer-reviewed evidence demonstrating that exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun causes aging and cancer. Nobody thinks that applying sunscreen will make them Chad, either.Sunscreen is useless. This is the one I use the most because it's transparent and its 50+ SPF . There's another one similar to this but the color is red because it contains base like the makeup to women and its oil based, so I wouldn't recommend it, only the one in the image. What kinda sunscreen do you use bra
1) SPF only measures protection from UVB rays. UVA rays are the cause of aging. This is the one I use the most because it's transparent and its 50+ SPF . The Neutrogena Age Shield Face 110 + PSF is the best one on the market I think and its non oil based.

How do you protect from uva rays. My sunscreen says uvb+uva protection on it1) SPF only measures protection from UVB rays. UVA rays are the cause of aging.
2) Most American sunscreen SPF labels are extremely unreliable. Sunscreens labeled 50 SPF generally have an actual SPF of around 20.
3) Anything labeled over 50 SPF in the USA is almost certainly a lie or misleading marketing.
1) Avoid the sunlight from 10 AM to 5 PM. This should actually be your primary strategy. How do you protect from uva rays. My sunscreen says uvb+uva protection on it
Too much work bro1) Avoid the sunlight from 10 AM to 5 PM. This should actually be your primary strategy.
2) Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses if you must go outside.
3) If you must go outside, also wear a broad spectrum sunscreen; it should have either 3% avobenzone or - preferably - at least 15% zinc oxide. Re-apply at least every two hours.
Nigga, what do you want me to say? Saw this 2 seconds after googling sunscreen.1) SPF only measures protection from UVB rays. UVA rays are the cause of aging.

No, vitamin D is generated only from UVB, which is significantly attenuated after 5 PM. Get it in your diet or through supplements. It's not safe to rely on sunshine for vitamin D, and certainly not acceptable for looksmaxxers who care about anti-aging.Do you get any vitamin D3 if its not 10 to 5?
i have black curtains it should be fine not wearing it since im inside all the timeno, you should be using sunscreen even inside your house
Same. Are yours sun proof? I got some thick dark ones that are advertised as 0 light going through, from Walmart.i have black curtains it should be fine not wearing it since im inside all the time

Just waiting for my appointments to get these surgeries covered by insurance in the meantime, I'm on a diet to lose weight and I'm eyebrow/eyelashmaxxing with careprost, with skincare routine with Vitamin C serum and Tretinoin 0.5%. It takes time to go to all these appointments if you're in the U.S takes like 3 weeks or a month for each one. My midface is flat and eyes are bulging with extreme sleep apnea. I can get it easily covered by insurance, I recently got a referral to see a maxillofacial surgeon hopefully he isn't bluepilledJust noticed you're the same guy from the ENT specialist thread. Damn, you rot on here a lot.

Link to study pleaseclinical proof of this is that a cancerous cell nucleus can be transplanted into normal cytoplasm and the cell will not be cancerous. A healthy nucleus can be transplanted into cancerous cytoplasm and the cell will be cancerous. Thus cancer is caused in the cytoplasm (mitochrondria), NOT the nucleus.
Sikdir gijdillagjust fart
No there is not. There is pseudo science, associative data at best. There is no CAUSAL evidence like you are implying. Skin cancer increased about 2000% in America since sunscreen was invented. Did the sun magically get much more powerful? Or maybe is there a confounding variable? Something that has changed since the 1950s? Think a bit harder, stop repeating magazine broscience.
Premature ageing and cancer are caused primarily by diet, specifically the modern high carb diet causing chronic inflammation and mitochrondrial damage via the Warburg Effect. The clinical proof of this is that a cancerous cell nucleus can be transplanted into normal cytoplasm and the cell will not be cancerous. A healthy nucleus can be transplanted into cancerous cytoplasm and the cell will be cancerous. Thus cancer is caused in the cytoplasm (mitochrondria), NOT the nucleus.
Because cancer is fundamentally caused in the mitochrondria (ie cell metabolism) and not the nucleus (DNA) we should focus on metabolism as the basis for anti-ageing and anti-cancer strategies, rather than stupid half-witted attempts to avoid DNA damage with sunscreen, which is idiotic since every cell in the body undergoes DNA damage 10,000 times per day anyway. If DNA damage was causal with cancer and ageing we wouldn't make it out of infancy. The scientific fact is that DNA damage is a downstream result of mitochrondrial dysfunction, not the cause.
The other way to examine this topic is by studying vegans; walking evidence of how modern diets cause modern diseases. Among all the other conditions suffered by vegans, very common are premature-ageing, poor skin (both in color and elasticity), and a greater risk of cancer.
You don't need sunscreen. UV radiation is good for you. It's the chemicals in sunscreen that cause all these skin problems. Raw sunlight is therapeutic for your body and your mind. The easiest looksmax by far.
no, UV radiation from sunlight fucks up your skin even if you are at home and some light enters from the basement windowCan I get away with not using sunscreen if I wear a cap? I am on 60mg daily Accutane. I won't be out in the sun for a long time and will try to walk in the shadows as much as possible
It's possible but we really just don't know. I think UVB rays are healing for your skin, I think skin ageing mostly occurs with sunscreens that block UVB rays but not UVA. Just because something prevents sunburn doesn't mean it prevents harm. I think it's probably the opposite tbhthis is technically true in the short term. in long term it ages the face badly
