Im going into macquarie university in 6-7 months (almost done with year 12) and i've just asked a subreddit about the ethnic demographic of the people there:
"most of the general student population tends to be East Asian, especially Chinese, particularly in business and commerce."
"But in IT and engineering courses, the majority of international students are actually South Asian, mainly Nepali, Bangladeshi, and Indian."

This is my only hope:
"There’s more white people than most unis, in fact it’s known for that - but still majority Asian (including Indian) and a bit of middle eastern too I think"


I've already heard how shit sydneys dating scene is and how this is the case with other universities. My whole life i've had a shit ton of indians around me, and some asians, and all im attracted to are some some middle easterners and whites.

(I'm MTB face Arab 6 foot 4, although I dont look very arab)

Can anyone tell me what the dating life is in universities (specifically macqaurie). I know nightlife is shit too.

Macquarie is a dogshit uni so of course you will be surrounded by FOB indians and Chinese. Go to one of the top unis and there will be whites. For example, my mechanical engineering course has a lot of whites. It actually pisses me off that there's so many whites, I'd rather be around Indians and Asians.

Nah i swear UNSW is dominated by Asians. Sydney might be done actually. It depends on your course though, if you choose some STEMcel course then yea you'll probs be surrounded by Non-whites.

not that much. Then again i dont go out of sydney a lot (theres nothing to do out of sydney). But around white people inner city, I occasionally every now and then get height mogged. But most whites here are around 6 foot+
