I fucking hate this stupid goddamn book. It's the most surface-level mid-wit philosophy and "machiavellian manipulation tactics" that I've ever seen. This book was made for frat bros to skim through and make themselves feel like manipulation masterminds. In reality, most of all the information and tactics that are in the book will not work and even if they do it will amount to nothing since the ACTUAL law of manipulation is that everything will unveil eventually. And let's be honest most of the people reading this book aren't too smart just knowing the tactics won't amount to anything it entirely relies on the reader to be able to implement the laws. Anyone with a rudimentary level of knowledge in philosophy and psychology will be able to tell when someone is doing it. It's an OKAY introductory book into psychology however if you actually want to be proficient in "manipulation" to put it in layman's terms you would need an extensive education in psychology and you would need to read multiple books pertaining to the subject. In short, Robert Greene wrote this book for college students who are obsessed with "self-improvement" and the need to feel smarter than they are.
