My main problem with doing some startup is lack of experience and buisness acumen. The technical side of building a product doesn't scare me. My main expertise is in software development and DevOps but I have dipped my feet into enough things to get a hang of most. I'm not great at a lot of things far from it but I know enough to get the ball rolling. I built an AI app in a weekend for a user here and the last time I opened the docs for it, was months ago. I can learn whatever is necessary to get a project off the ground but when it comes to business acumen, corporate compliance, and scaling an actual company. Iโm completely blind.
Iโd need a co founder I can actually trust, not a random contact from a cold email that slid into my inbox on Tuesday afternoon. I've already been through a lot these few years. If you have read life story thread my life has been chaos after 16 and only now I have any semblance of security and stability. And Trading that stability for the chaotic startup deep end when you've only ever handled the tech side feels like an unnecessary gamble. but I guess I can never be more prepared. I wish I could trust myself more I want to be my own boss too but what I'm afraid of is the leap of faith
